This page lists the cookies and similar storage used by willowalexanderhandyman.co.uk. We use as few as we can, and everything beyond the strictly necessary stays off until you switch it on.

Necessary. Required for the site to work. This covers the cookie that remembers your cookie choices, the bot challenge on our forms, and short-lived technical cookies set by our host to route your request. These do not need consent and cannot be switched off.
Analytics. Optional. Helps us see how people find and use the site so we can improve it. Covers Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and our error monitoring. No advertising profiles are built.
Marketing. Optional. Supports our newsletter and email marketing through Klaviyo. Used only if you have opted in.

wa_cc, set by this site. Remembers which cookie categories you accepted, so we do not ask again on every page. Lasts 182 days, then we ask you afresh.
Cloudflare Turnstile challenge tokens, set when you use one of our forms. Short-lived, and used only to confirm the submission came from a person.
Vercel routing cookies, set by our host. Technical and short-lived.
Analytics, only after you accept analytics:
_ga and _ga_*, set by Google Analytics 4. Distinguish one visitor from another. Last up to 2 years.
_gid, set by Google Analytics. Distinguishes visitors. Lasts 24 hours.
_clck and _clsk, set by Microsoft Clarity. Link a session to its recording and heatmap data. Last up to 1 year and 1 day respectively.
Sentry loads in this category to report technical errors. It stores a short-lived session identifier only.
Marketing, only after you accept marketing:
__kla_id, set by Klaviyo. Remembers whether you have already subscribed so we do not ask twice. Lasts up to 2 years.
We do not run any advertising pixel. If that ever changes, this page and the banner will list it before it goes live.
Use the cookie preferences link at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner and change your choices at any time.
If you turn a category off after having turned it on, we stop loading those scripts and clear the cookies we can reach on your next page view. Some third-party cookies can only be cleared from your browser settings, and the section below explains how.
Our online booking window is provided by ServiceOS and runs from accounts.willowalexander.co.uk. When you open it, that platform may set its own cookies on its own domain in order to remember your progress through the booking. Those cookies are governed by ServiceOS's own privacy and cookie notices, not by this one.
Because that booking window is needed for you to finish a booking you chose to start, we treat its cookies as strictly necessary.
Every modern browser can block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or clear the ones already stored. Look under Privacy in your browser's settings. Blocking everything will stop parts of this site working properly, including the booking window.
